TV: Renasant Bank: Greater Service

A merger in 2004 created Renasant Bank from People’s Bank & Trust Company and a new logo was needed. After 6 years of use, Renasant asked Mabus Agency to strengthen their logo.  The logo you see above is the result of cosmetic improvements made in 2010.    A slightly bolder color palette was chosen and usage was changed so the logo is preferred on a darker blue.  Perhaps the most important part of this process was landing on a new positioning statement.  The bank felt the old slogan (We’re more than a bank) was too ambiguous to gain true momentum.  After market research, Mabus Agency worked closely with Renasant to create the line “Greater Service”.  This represents the bank as a unique statement in the marketplace.  The commercial above was created to raise general awareness of the bank with their new brand position.
